Cyclone Gabrielle has caused widespread damage to many within our community and we know a lot of you have been hit very hard.
We are sure you are well aware the issues we all face with getting fuel safely to your site is access. Our team are calling all customers to discuss their individual situations, but if we can’t access your site and you need fuel now, we do have options available.
The following Farmland Fuel Stops are operating:
Whakatu Fuel Stop (Diesel only)- Nimon’s Bus Depot, 30 Whakatu Road, Hastings
Waipukurau Fuel Stop (Diesel only)- Cook Street, Waipukurau
Ruatoria Fuel Stop (Diesel only)- Main Road State Highway 25, Ruatoria
These are unmanned and will accept your Fern Fuel card, Farmlands shareholder card, eftpos or credit cards.

We have the ability for you to book a trailer tank so you can fill your diesel tanks.
The trailer tanks can be picked up from our Whakatu Fuel Stop and are allocated in three hour slots. To request a trailer tank rental please fill out the following ‘Contact Form’. Simply put “trailer tank booking” with the time and date you request in the additional notes field, then one of our team will be in touch to organise.
We understand there has been increased demand for jerry cans. Farmlands Hastings and Gisborne currently do have sufficient stock, please see the website here for current options and availability.
Our suppliers have sufficient stock of both 200L approx. $1,900 and 400L ute tanks approx. $2,500 options. These can be viewed here.
